In a secluded corner of Tuscia, where silence seemed to have silenced the voices of the past,Sant’Angelo di Roccalvecce has rewritten its destiny with the colors of wonder.
Today, as you walk through its ancient alleys, you no longer just stroll — you daydream.
🌟 A Rebirth in Brushstrokes
Just a few years ago, Sant’Angelo seemed destined for oblivion:empty houses, silent streets, a slow fading away.
Then, in 2017, a bold project sparked a revival:the Cultural Association Arte e Spettacolo (ACAS), together with a group of all-female street artists, transformed the village into an open-air museum.
The first magical touch?Alice in Wonderland, painted by Tina Loiodice —a dreamlike gateway, an open door into Sant’Angelo’s new soul.
🖌️ The Museum of Fairy Tales
Today, more than 50 murals cover the village walls, telling stories of:
Pinocchio
Peter Pan
The Little Prince
Don Quixote
The Little Match Girl
Snow White, Cinderella, Willy Wonka, Mary Poppins
…and many other heroes of paper and dreams
👉🏻 Every wall is an invitation to wonder, every corner a page turned from an eternal story.
🌍 A Community Project
The rebirth of Sant’Angelo is not just artistic — it is human, economic, and social:
Self-funding and spontaneous donations continue to support new works
New B&Bs, artisan shops, and stores have reopened their doors
The streets are once again filled with children, families, artists, and travelers
